I had an entrepreneurial start to my career running a promotions company whilst at university and a web-streaming start-up in the noughties.

A shift over to corporate life taught me structure, strategy, understanding the power of insights, communication and structuring business models that supported growth.

As a result, I  have led small, medium and large businesses across multiple sectors (in both B2B and B2C), through transformation and acquisition journeys to develop teams, strategies and plans to deliver growth. 

Investor

Buying + Maximising Returns + Turnaround   

I invest in small & medium sized businesses and help them grow and scale.  I work with the existing owner to understand what they need and find the best way to achieve that -  a quick exit,  a planned exit in 1-3 years to maximise value, rapid scaling,  or finding a way to save a struggling company.

These businesses build value and add to our communities. They create and sustain the local economies, reduce miles travelled and can focus on developing over medium to long term, unlike listed companies who are martyrs to the quarterly shareholder value cycle.

However, many business owners may find it difficult to release the value from their investments when they need to, or when they want to move on.  This is where I can help.

Investor

I invest in small & medium sized UK businesses with a revenue of £5M-£20M.  My goal is to continue to add value to these businesses and cement their futures in the local economy.

 

I specialise in growth, scaling and business turnaround. 

 

For business smaller businesses from £200k+ EBITDA who are looking for scale and growth, I help them scale and get access to liquidity and financial markets.

Advisor & Coach

I work with executive boards and their members to support business analysis, leadership decisions, and driving consumer/customer centricity.  

 

 

You need someone who can challenge appropriately and provide a sounding board/debate with a neutral voice and help drive action and accountability. 

 

 

I provide advice across general management, cross-functional leadership, marketing, innovation, customer experience as well as team building and culture.

Consultant

Here, I work with mid to larger clients on a project basis to support big, hairy, strategic questions or problems.  I help identify value opportunities and support executive teams in developing plans to release the value.

 

I specialise in strategic opportunity definition, proposition articulation, consumer / customer insight and briefing and managing creative agencies.
